If you can't log in there because something is wrong with the account name (email address) and its associated password there is no sense trying to get your TB working. Make sure those accounts can even log into the webmail. Thunderbird email client users who use the programs built-in email encryption functionality need to set a master password in Thunderbird to properly protect their encryption keys. Also on that page is a recommendation to create and use a secure mail key in place of the account password. So check your server settings with what's specified here. The prompt won't appear if the correct password is saved and you have the proper server settings. In the prompt you need to click the checkbox to save the password in the password manager. Go to TOOLS > OPTIONS >SECURITY > PASSWORDS tab> SAVED PASSWORDS button and there you can delete the old password for the account. The saved logins (aka TB's password manager) are updated in when you send or receive to a server that's hasn't yet got its password saved and TB prompts you for the password. Sometimes when the server sends an error message relating to a password issue, Thunderbird fails to clear things and simply entering the new password value doesn't do what is intended. You said you deleted the entries from the saved logins. THere is no longer an Outbound server password in the Tbird Security list of saved logons.
